Cadeirydd y Llywodraethwyr – neges – Chair of Governors – message

Annwyl rhieni a ffrindiau,

Wrth i’r flwyddyn ddirwyn i ben, hoffwn i cymryd y cyfle hwn ar ran Llywodraethwyr Ysgol Pentrecelyn i ddiolch i staff arbennig yr Ysgol. Maen nhw’n rhoi gymaint o amser ac ymdrech er lles y disgyblion a llwyddiant yr ysgol.

Eleni rydym wedi gweld dathliadau penblwydd yn 150 oed a oedd yn cynnwys nosweithiau i’w cofio yng Nghapel y Tabernacl a’r Leyland, dathliadau yn yr ysgol i ddisgyblion y gorffennol a’r presennol a her gerdded y Tri Chopa Cymru, a gododd y cyfan swm aruthrol i Parkinsons UK,  Cylch Meithrin a CRhFfa.  Mae’r tymor hwn wedi gweld menter i gydweithio ag Ysgol Betws Gwerfil Goch gan feithrin perthynas i’r dyfodol, ac wrth gwrs y cyngerdd Nadolig gwych yn Eglwys Llanelidan. Roedd cymaint o weithgareddau amrywiol eraill eleni na allaf eu crybwyll i gyd.

Rydym hefyd wedi gweld buddsoddiad cyfalaf gan Cyngor Sir Ddinbych i foderneiddio adeilad yr ysgol a chyflwyno technoleg Eco, gan alluogi’r ysgol i fod yn un o’r rhai mwyaf Eco-effeithlon yn y Sir.

Mae’r Cylch Meithrin yn parhau i dyfu ac mae’n hyfryd gweld teuluoedd newydd yn ymuno â ni yn Ysgol Pentrecelyn.

Fel rhiant mae fy mhlant wedi elwa ar yr amgylchedd cynnes, anogol a chynhwysol a ddarperir yn Ysgol Pentrecelyn, mae hyn yn gwneud iddynt fwynhau eu hamser yn yr ysgol ac yn rhyfeddu at eu datblygiad.

Os hoffai unrhyw un ymuno â’r Llywodraethwyr i helpu i sicrhau llwyddiant parhaus Ysgol Pentrecelyn byddai croeso mawr i chi.

Diolch eto i bawb a gymerodd ran.

Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.

Richard Pierce

Cadeirydd Llywodraethwyr Ysgol Pentrecelyn

Dear parents and friends

As the year draws to an end I thought I would take this opportunity on behalf of the Ysgol Pentrecelyn School Governors to say a special thankyou to the staff at the school, they truly go the extra mile for the benefit of the pupils and the success of the school.

This year we have seen 150th birthday celebrations that included nights to remember at Capel Y Tabernacl and The Leyland, celebrations at the school for past and present pupils and the Wesh Three Peaks walking challenge which all raised an amazing amount for Parkinsons UK and Cylch Meithrin. This term has seen an initiative to collaborate with Ysgol Betws Gwerfil Goch building relationships for the future, and of course the brilliant Christmas concert at Llanelidan Church. There were so many other varied activities this year that I can’t mention them all.

We have also seen a capital investment from Denbighshire County Council into the modernisation of the school building and introduction of Eco technology, enabling the school to be one of the most Eco efficient in the county.

The Cylch Meithrin continues to grow and it is lovely to see new families joining us at Ysgol Pentrecelyn.

As a parent my children have benefited from the warm encouraging and inclusive environment provided at Ysgol Pentrecelyn, this makes them enjoy their time in school and does wonders for their development.

If anyone would like to join the Governors to help ensure the ongoing success of Ysgol Pentrecelyn you would be most welcome.

Thanks again to all involved.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
