Annwyl Rieni, 

Wrth i ni baratoi ar gyfer blwyddyn ysgol newydd, hoffem eich annog i gofrestru eich plentyn ar gyfer Aelodaeth yr Urdd Gobaith Cymru 2026-27 

Mae’r Urdd yn cynnig cyfleoedd unigryw i blant Cymru gymryd rhan mewn amrywiaeth o weithgareddau cyffrous, gan gynnwys: 

• Cystadlaethau celf, cerddoriaeth, dawns a drama 

• Digwyddiadau chwaraeon lleol a chenedlaethol 

• Teithiau preswyl i ganolfannau fel Llangrannog, Glan-llyn a Chaerdydd 

Mae aelodaeth yn hanfodol er mwyn i’ch plentyn gymryd rhan yn y gweithgareddau hyn, ac mae’n ffordd wych o ddatblygu hyder, sgiliau cymdeithasol a balchder yn eu Cymreictod. 

Cost Aelodaeth: 

• £13.50 y plentyn am y flwyddyn ysgol 2026-27 (Neu £30 am ‘docyn teulu’- tri o blant) 

• *£1 yn unig i’r rhai hynny sy’n derbyn cefnogaeth ariannol (gweler y wefan am mwy o wybodaeth)

Sylwch: Mae’n bwysig cofrestru cyn gynted â phosib er mwyn sicrhau bod eich plentyn yn gymwys i gymryd rhan mewn cystadlaethau ac ymweliadau ysgol. 

Os oes gennych unrhyw gwestiynau neu os hoffech gymorth gyda’r broses gofrestru, mae croeso i chi gysylltu â’r ysgol.

Dear Parents, 

As we prepare for the new school year, we would like to encourage you to register your child for Urdd Gobaith Cymru Membership for 2026-27 

The Urdd offers unique opportunities for children in Wales to take part in a wide range of exciting activities, including: 

• Competitions in art, music, dance and drama 

• Local and national sporting events 

• Residential trips to centres such as Llangrannog, Glan-llyn and Cardiff Membership is essential for your child to participate in these activities, and it’s a fantastic way to build confidence, social skills and pride in their Welsh identity.

Membership Cost: 

• £13.50 per child for the 2026–27 school year (or £30 for a Family Ticket- 3 siblings) 

• £1 membership for those families who receive Income support, child tax credit (Please see website for further details)

Please note: It’s important to register as soon as possible to ensure your child is eligible to take part in competitions and school visits.
