CRhFfA - Disgo Calan Gaeaf PTFA - Halloween Disco

Yn dilyn y neges a rannwyd ar ran y Gymdeithas Rhieni, Ffrindiau ac Athrawon ar ddechrau’r wythnos, hoffem egluro’r trefniadau ar gyfer Disgo Calan Gaeaf yfory.

Mae wedi’i benderfynu rhoi cynnig ar drefniant newydd eleni, gyda rhai gweithgareddau’n cael eu cynnal y tu allan i oriau ysgol a rhieni yn cymryd mwy o gyfrifoldeb am eu harwain. Mae hon yn drefn sy’n gyffredin mewn nifer o ysgolion.

Dros yr wyth mlynedd diwethaf neu fwy, mae staff yr ysgol, ynghyd â rhai gwirfoddolwyr y Gymdeithas Rhieni, Athrawon a Ffrindiau, wedi trefnu a goruchwylio’r rhan fwyaf o’r gweithgareddau hyn fel rhan o’n prynhawniau Gwener Gwych yn ystod oriau ysgol.

Felly, i egluro’r nodyn a anfonwyd yn gynharach yr wythnos hon, bydd angen i rieni neu ofalwyr fod yn bresennol ac aros gyda’u plentyn o 3:15yp ymlaen er mwyn iddynt allu cymryd rhan yn y Disgo Calan Gaeaf. Mae croeso hefyd i frodyr a chwiorydd iau’r disgyblion ddod draw a mwynhau’r hwyl.

Gellir adolygu a thrafod y trefniant hwn yng nghyfarfod nesaf y Gymdeithas Rhieni, Ffrindiau ac Athrawon ar 10 Tachwedd am 5:30yh, er mwyn helpu i lywio’r gwaith o gynllunio digwyddiadau yn y dyfodol.

Following on from the message shared on behalf of the PTFA at the beginning of the week, we would like to clarify the arrangements for tomorrow’s Halloween Disco.

It has been decided to trial a new arrangement this year, with certain activities held outside school hours with parents taking more of a lead. This is an approach that is common in many schools.

Over the past eight years or so, school staff, alongside some PTFA volunteers, have organised and supervised the majority of these activities as part of our Fantastic Friday afternoons during school hours.

Therefore, to clarify the note sent this week, parents or carers will need to attend and stay with their child from 3:15pm onwards in order for them to take part in the Halloween Disco. There is a welcome for younger siblings to also attend and enjoy the fun.

This arrangement can be reviewed and discussed at the next PTFA meeting on the 10th of November at 5:30pm to help inform future event planning.
