Cylch Meitrin Ysgol Pentrecelyn
Rydym yn croesawu Jemma Williams (Anti Jemma) ac Anni Hanmer (Anti Anni) i deulu Ysgol Pentrecelyn. Maen nhw yma ar hyn o bryd yn paratoi ar gyfer agor Cylch Meithrin yma yn Ysgol Pentrecelyn yn fuan iawn.
We welcome Jemma Williams (Anty Jemma) and Anni Hanmer (Anty Anni) to the Pentrecelyn family. They are busy preparing for the Cylch Meithrin which will be starting soon here at Ysgol Pentrecelyn.

Rising 3’s
We would like to welcome Gruff, Erin’s brother who has joined us by taking advantage of the Early Education 10 hours funded education following his third birthday last term. This scheme is funded by Denbighshire County Council to give a taste of the school before they start in the Nursery class in September 2022. Llongyfarchiadau
Llongyfarchiadau i Catrin Wynne am ennill cystadleuaeth enwi ystafelloedd HWB Gymunedol Coleg Llysfasi. Cawsom seremoni yn yr ysgol ddoe gydag aelodau staff Llysfasi yn ymweld â ni. Er gwybodaeth yr enwau bydd Cricor, Yr Accre, Y Waun a’r Gelli. Mae ein holl waith am yr ardal leol wedi dwyn ffrwyth.
Congratulations
Staff from Llysfasi College attended a ceremony at the school yesterday to congratulate Catrin Wynne on winning the competition naming the rooms in the new Community HUB at Llysfasi College. The winning names were Cricor, Yr Accre, Y Waun and Y Gelli. Our work on the local area has obviously paid off!
Urdd 100
Mae mudiad yr Urdd yn dathlu canmlwyddiant eleni. Oherwydd hyn bydd mynediad i’r maes am ddim yn ystod Eisteddfod Sir Ddinbych 2022 a fydd yn cael ei gynnal yn Ninbych rhwng Mai 30 a Mehefin 4. Rydym fel ysgol yn awyddus i’r plant fod yn rhan o’r bwrlwm a chael cyfle i gystadlu mewn nifer o gystadlaethau llwyfan, gwaith celf, chwaraeon a choginio. Er mwyn cystadlu mae’n rhaid i’r plant fod yn aelodau o’r Urdd a gellwch ymuno ar wefan yr Urdd sef https://www.urdd.cymru/cy/eisteddfod/2022/cystadlu/ Nid ydy’r ysgol bellach yn cael ymaelodi’r plant i’r Urdd nag i gystadlu.
Dyddiad cau cofrestu i gystadlaethau llwyfan ydi Chwefror 14 a byddwn yn trafod gyda’r plant i weld pwy sydd am gystadlu yn ystod y pythefnos nesaf.
Dyddiad cau Celf a Chrefft ydi Ebrill 5. Rydym hefyd yn gobeithio cynnal cystadleuaeth CogUrdd yn yr ysgol cyn Chwefror 14, os oes diddordeb.

Urdd 100
The Urdd is celebrating its centenary this year. To celebrate entrance to the Denbighshire Urdd eisteddfod 2022 which is being held in Denbigh between the 30th May and the 4th June will be FREE. We are eager for the children to be part of this excitement and for them to participate in a number of competitions on stage, craft and design, sports and cookery. In order to compete pupils must be a member of the Urdd, this can be done online on the Urdd website https://www.urdd.cymru/en/eisteddfod/20221/competing/ The school is no longer able to register memberships or competitions.
Closing dates for stage competitions is February 14th. We will be discussing with the children to see who will be performing in the next fortnight. Closing dates for for Craft and Design is April 5th. We also hope that we will be able to host the CogUrdd first round in school before February 14th, if anyone is interested in competing.
