Welcome back and a Happy New Year. It was lovely to see all of the happy faces returning to school this morning after the Christmas holidays. I hope you have all seen the article in the ‘Denbighshire Free Press’ highlighting the improvements we have had to the school recently.
Fel yr hysbyswyd cyn y Nadolig ni fydd disgyblion blwyddyn 5 a 6 yn talu am ginio ysgol o dymor yma ymlaen. Gofynwn yn garedig i chi wirio ParentPay i wneud yn siwr fod bob taliad sydd angen wedi ei wneud.
We sent an email before Christmas advising that pupils in year 5 and 6 will no longer pay for school meal as of this term. We ask kindly that you visit ParentPay to ensure that all outstanding payments are made.
Bydd gwersi addysg gorfforol yn ail ddechrau dydd Mercher y 17eg o Ionawr, trefniadau dillad i barhau fel tymor diwethaf. Pawb i wisgo gwisg ysgol fel yr arfer yfory.
PE lessons will resume on Wednesday 17th January, we will follow the same arrangements with clothes as last term. Everyone to come to school tomorrow in uniform as usual.
Tywydd
Gyda dechrau’r tymor newydd rydym hefyd wedi derbyn rhagolwg o’r posibilrwydd o eira a rhew yn yr wythnosau nesaf. Cofiwch hyn wrth ollwng/codi plant o’r ysgol oherwydd gall y ffordd y tu allan i’r ysgol fod yn arbennig o lithrig yn enwedig ar ôl cyfnod o law cyson fel rydym wedi’i gael.
Bydd unrhyw ddiweddariadau swyddogol ynglŷn â chau’r ysgol oherwydd tywydd gwael yn cael eu gwneud trwy wefan CSDd ac ap yr ysgol ond bydd Glenda hefyd yn ymdrechu i ddiweddaru grŵp WhatApp gyda sefyllfa’r ysgol a chlwb brecwast.
Weather
With the start of the new term we have also received a forecast of the possibility of snow and ice in the coming weeks. Please be mindful of this when dropping off/pickup children from school as the road outside school can be particular slippy especially after a period of constant rain like we have had.
Any official updates regarding school closure due to bad weather will be made via DCC website and the school app but Glenda will endeavour to also update WhatApp group with the situation at school and the Breakfast club.
Clwb Brecwast – Gofynnwn i’r rhai sy’n mynychu’r clwb brecwast fod yn ymwybodol y gall aelodau staff cael problemau yn cyrraedd ar amser oherwydd y tywydd. Felly, gofalwch fod disgyblion yn cael eu hebrwng at y drws a’u trosglwyddo i’r staff cyn gadael.
Breakfast Club – Those attending breakfast club please be mindful that staff members may have issues arriving on time because of the weather. Therefore, please ensure that pupils are escorted to the door and handed over to staff members before leaving.
