Gwahoddiad i lansio prosiect Fferm Seren (addysg ariannol) – Invitation to the launch of Seren’s Farm project (financial education)

Ar ran Ysgol Pentrecelyn, Menter yr Ifanc a SARN Associates, mae’n bleser gennyf anfon gwahoddiad atoch ar gyfer digwyddiad lansio prosiect addysg ariannol Fferm Seren.

Yn ôl yn 2022, dechreuodd Menter yr Ifanc weithio gyda’n hysgol a David Evans (SARN) i gyflwyno prosiect unigryw, gan adlewyrchu anghenion a diddordebau ein cymuned wledig. Dros y 18 mis diwethaf, mae holl Gyfnod Allweddol 2 yr ysgol wedi cydweithio ar y prosiect hwn, i greu adnodd sy’n canolbwyntio ar ffermio a llythrennedd ariannol, o’r enw Fferm Seren.

Mae’r adnodd hwn yn weithlyfr dwyieithog (Cymraeg a Saesneg) pwrpasol sy’n cysylltu ffermio â sgiliau ariannol a menter. Mae’r prosiect yn mynd i’r afael â gwerth hanfodol rhifedd, llythrennedd ariannol a meddwl mentrus fel rhagofynion ar gyfer gyrfa lwyddiannus mewn ffermio neu sector cysylltiedig. Mae data Llywodraeth Cymru yn dangos bod dros 50,000 o bobl yng Nghymru yn cael eu cyflogi o fewn y gymuned ffermio.

Byddem yn falch o’ch gweld ar 8 Chwefror o 1-2.30pm ar gyfer y digwyddiad lansio hwn. Ochr yn ochr â Phrif Swyddog Gweithredu Menter yr Ifanc Russell Winnard, y plant o Ysgol Pentrecelyn, cefnogwyr prosiect allweddol a rhanddeiliaid, rydym wedi gwahodd addysgwyr o bob rhan o’r rhanbarth.

Wrth i Fenter yr Ifanc a SARN baratoi i gyflwyno’r adnodd i 7500 o bobl ifanc ledled Cymru, maent yn awyddus i rannu’r cynlluniau hyn ac i ddangos effaith y gweithlyfr yn bersonol.

Byddwn yn cynnal y digwyddiad yng Nghaffi a Gofod Digwyddiadau’r:

Maes Carafanau Llanbenwch,, Rhuthun, Sir Ddinbych, LL15 2SH

Edrychaf ymlaen at glywed gennych a gobeithio eich gweld ar 8 Chwefror.

On behalf of Ysgol Pentrecelyn, Young Enterprise and SARN Associates, I am delighted to send you an invitation for the launch event of the Seren’s Farm financial education project. Back in 2022, Young Enterprise began working with our school and David Evans (SARN) to deliver a unique project, reflecting the needs and interests of our rural community. Over the last 18 months, the whole of Key Stage 2 at the school has collaborated on this project, to create a farming and financial literacy focused resource, called Seren’s Farm. This resource is a bespoke, bilingual (Welsh and English) workbook connecting farming with financial and enterprise skills. The project addresses the critical value of numeracy, financial literacy and enterprising thinking as prerequisites for a successful career in farming or a related sector. Welsh Government data shows that over 50,000 people in Wales are employed within the farming community. We would be happy to see you on 8th February from 1-2.30pm for this launch event. Alongside Young Enterprise’s Chief Operating Officer Russell Winnard, the children from Ysgol Pentrecelyn, key project supporters and stakeholders, we have invited educators from across the region. As Young Enterprise and SARN prepare to roll out the resource to 7500 young people across Wales, they are keen to share these plans and to demonstrate the workbook’s impact in person. We will hold the event at the Café and Event Space of the:
Llanbenwch Caravan Park, Ruthin, Denbighshire, LL15 2SH
I look forward to hearing from you and hope to see you on 8th February.
