Eisteddfod Cylch – Diolch o galon i bawb wnaeth gymryd rhan yn yr Eisteddfod dydd Sadwrn. Braf oedd gweld Pentrecelyn ar y llwyfan gyda’r Parti Unsain. Hoffwn hefyd ddiolch i’r staff am roi eu hamser ac i chi rieni am eich cefnogaeth. Bydd y Parti Unsain yn mynd ymlaen i’r Eisteddfod Sir dydd Sadwrn, Mawrth 21 yn Ysgol Brynhyfryd.
Eisteddfod Sir Dawns nos Fawrth, Mawrth 10 yn Ysgol Brynhyfryd. Mae’r eisteddfod yn dechrau am 4.30yp ond cewch amser penodol i gyrraedd yn nes at y dyddiad. Rwy’n atodi’r rhaglen.
Sioe Gynradd yr Urdd – Braf yw gweld fod plant Bl 5 a 6 yr ysgol wedi cael rhan yn y Sioe Gynradd. Edrychwn ymlaen at eu gweld ar lwyfan y pafiliwn ym mis Mai. Ewch i wefan yr Urdd os ydych am archebu tocynnau – www.urdd.cymru/cy/eisteddfod/2020/cyngherddau-sioeau-nos/
Wythnos Masnach Deg – Bydd plant CA2 yn ymweld â thref Rhuthun bore fory i ymchwilio i gynnyrch masnach deg yn yr archfarchnadoedd. Byddant yn manteisio ar y gwasanaeth bws lleol i’w cludo.
Gwersi Nofio – Bydd gwersi nofio yn ail-ddechrau i blant Bl 1-6 bore Iau yma, Mawrth 5 am gyfres o 10 gwers i gyd. Bydd Dosbarth Derbyn yn ymuno â ni am y 5 gwers ar ôl Pasg. Byddwn yn gofyn am gyfraniad tuag at y costau o £10 am yr hanner tymor yma i’w dalu ar ParentPay os gwelwch yn dda.
Cystadlaethau Celf a Chrefft yr Urdd – Mae’n rhaid i bob eitem Gelf a Chrefft fod yn yr ysgol erbyn dydd Mawrth, Ebrill 21 fan bellaf gan mai dyma’r diwrnod beirniadu. Os yw’r plant wedi gorffen eu heitemau cyn hynny, mae croeso iddynt ddod â nhw i’r ysgol cyn gwyliau’r Pasg. Eisteddfod Cylch – Many thanks to everyone who took part in the Eisteddfod on Saturday. It was lovely to see Ysgol Pentrecelyn on stage in the Unison Party. I would also like to thank the staff for giving their time and to you as parents for your support. The Unison Party will now go on to compete in the County Eisteddfod on Saturday, 21 March in Ysgol Brynhyfryd.
County Dance Eisteddfod Tuesday, 10 March in Ysgol Brynhyfryd. The Eisteddfod starts at 4.30pm but I will let you know what time to meet nearer the date. I’m attaching the programme.
Urdd Primary Show – It is lovely to see that Yr 5 and 6 pupils have been given parts in the Primary show. We look forward to seeing them on the pavilion stage in May. You can order tickets for the show by going to the Urdd website – www.urdd.cymru/cy/eisteddfod/2020/cyngherddau-sioeau-nos/
Fair Trade Week – KS2 children will be going to Ruthin tomorrow morning to look into fair trade produce in the local supermarkets. They will be taking advantage of the local bus service to take them there.
Swimming Lessons – Lessons will be starting again this Thursday, 5 March, for Yr 1-6 pupils for a series of 10 lessons in total. Reception Class children will be joining us for the last 5 lessons after Easter. We will be asking for a contribution towards the transport costs of £10 for this term’s lessons to be paid on ParentPay please.
Urdd Art and Craft Competitions – All Art and Craft items must be in school by Tuesday, 21 April at the latest as they are being judged in Llangollen on this day. If the children have finished their items before then, they are welcome to bring them to school before the Easter holiday.
